Here are some relatively unique links related to high-power rocketry that are local to the San Francisco Bay Area:

Lab-Pro

Lab-Pro is a small retailer of laboratory supplies, hardware, and chemicals.  Think of it as a miniature bricks and mortar version of VWR.  You can find semiconductor grade acetone and IPA, powder-free latex gloves, desiccant, mixers, etc.

Precision Technical Sewing

PTS makes high-end custom sails and harnesses for the sailboat racing community, as well as aerospace work including...(dig this).....Kevlar® straps to secure o-ring heating elements for the space shuttle SRBs.  These rare individuals value quality work and personalized service. Nomex®, Kevlar®, Rip-Stop Nylon, etc. are their everyday materials.  Nice folks, and you can walk right in to the shop with a sketch and get good advice and a quote.

Some nice mail order outfits that are not geographically specific:

The Composite Store

A nice alternative to Fibreglast for composite construction raw materials and tools.  They have a good, simple website.  Phone orders only, but on the phone they are helpful and pleasant.  Everything is always in stock, and shipping is fast and well done.  They operate on West Coast time, from Tehachapi, CA, of all places.

Dick Blick Art Materials

Great name!  McMaster-Carr for the art major.....great for hobby knives, Olfa rotary cutting tools and mats, cabinets, straight edges, T-squares, carrying bags, drafting tables, etc.

The usual suspects:

Rocketry Online

Everything you would like to know about high-power rocketry eventually comes through this place.

Tripoli Rocketry Association

The official .org site

AERO-PAC

A parochial plug for the world's best high-power club. Official hosts of the Black Rock Desert launches, La Scala for rockets.

John Coker's Rocketry

Amazingly well done web site with a treasure trove of information.
